Paperless Office Solutions, Inc. was formed to bring process automation solutions to small – medium businesses, medical practices, as well as state and local governments and education that were previously affordable only to the largest corporations and government agencies.
The purpose of our solutions is to help you automate business processes that are paper intensive by providing digital document / content / records management often coupled with content driven workflow and digital signature technologies. In essence, our solutions reduce cost, compress process time, and enhance customer relations by removing the manual interventions required to process, move, file, find, and generally work with paper documents.
Our content driven workflow utilizes electronic forms as “intelligent content capture agents” to replace existing paper forms and other form-“like” documents. As these electronic forms are filled, data can be retrieved from databases and used to “populate,” or fill, form fields. At the same time, information that has been filled into the form fields can be extracted and processed directly into databases and business applications. This enables a wealth of additional automation capabilities such as instant verification of identity, credit scoring, and eligibilities. Once the forms are completed, they are stored as business documents into the document management system solution we provide.
Our ability to provide this “end-to-end” capability at an affordable cost is unmatched in today’s industry. It is what differentiates Paperless Office Solutions from the myriad of “pieces-parts” solutions…most of which do little more than simply take pictures of pieces of paper…that exist today.
Paperless Office Solutions, Inc. was incorporated in July, 2003. Prior to that time, approximately two years of market and technology research was developed. This research confirmed our intuition that our target markets were severely underserved and, thus, vulnerable to regulatory non-compliance fines, natural disasters, and other business interruptions…all of which have consequential costs associated with them. Our solutions both protect against the consequences of these impacts while, at the same time, reduce operating expenses and improve business process performance. A ture win, win outcome.
Our technology is based on relationships we have formed with the Xerox Corporation, Verity, Signix and ScanSoft. We are an authorized (and certified) VAR for Xerox and Verity which serves to expand our native resources by making available to us additional professional services and technical support. All of our support technicians are ‘manufacturer trained and certified.’ These technologies have one compelling common denominator; that is, they are “thin client” and, thus, accessible through your web browser. Our solutions operate in both Microsoft and Sun UNIX operating environments supporting SQL-Server and Oracle databases.
Paperless Office Solutions provides these solutions through installations into customer data centers or applications services (ASP) from our data center. Our data center is HIPAA compliant, disaster secure (capable of operating without external power for up to 30 days), and backed-up to other data centers located outside of Florida. Paperless Office Solutions is aggressively committed to growing its business in the eastern United States and, to that end, has sales offices in Rochester, NY and Jacksonville, FL. Moreover, Paperless Office Solutions has established a Technology and Training Center in Jacksonville, FL. The TTC provides manufacturer product classes, application proficiency training, and a remote development / support center to our customers and the customers and employees of both our technology partners and other VARs.
